So, in a weird twist, I ended up in a movie tonight about 15 minutes after hearing that a bunch of people were going. I’d now like to take this time to boycott this movie…
If you are into old school Disney movies where everyone breaks into song at random points, this might be your gig. Other than that… you should probably look into something else…
:-) I take it you never saw the preview before you went. I don’t plan on seeing it, They took my classic fairy tale from childhood, and crush it (this movie doesn’t belong on the same shelf as Beauty and The Beast). The previews were enough to aggravate me. Great musicals are one, thing but this um probably not.
August Rush… check it. Great music in this movie. As a musician you would probably enjoy this. The story line was a little cheezy in places but overall pretty good.

I saw this movie yesterday with the family. I slept through most of it. Enough said!
