Ok, normally I wouldn’t make a post about this, but it’s just so darn cool that it happened like this, you just have to hear about it :)
So here is the story…
December 1st, 2006… A young LSU freshman decides that he is going to document life, share his thoughts, and give himself a reason to sit down and write about life. This young man was none other than yours truly, and you might have guessed, the fruits of that decision became what you now know as Josh-Bob.com. You can see that first post here. December 1st is tomorrow. In other words, today is the 365th day of my blogging life.
This is where it gets cool… Today, as you see in the picture below, as of this morning I have broken the 20,000 hits mark on my blog. The only thing greater than my joy to still be here after a year, is my joy that I haven’t faded into irrelevancy over this time.

I’d like to thank Dan O. and JP, you guys make me strive to keep the quality level up. Also, Greg and Dave for always being there to explain things that I don’t comprehend, you guys make it happen.
Alright, you may or may not know this, but with some recent tech troubles, JP Brumfield’s blog has been out of service for around a week now. Not to worry, calm down, comfort your children, it’s back online.
Take a second and go show him some love, I hear he’s got some pretty awesome posts brewing, so you should definitely check out his blog.

To be honest, I was just waiting for Phill to fess up to Googling the answer :)

Alright, I know there is someone that knows the answer to this in my blog readers circle.
What is the town of Zwolle, LA famous for?
Happy guessing!

I guess it’s just my nature to blog? I had to show off a little of God’s beauty that I’m chilling in this weekend. Loving it.

I’m really not going to do this the whole time, this was just a fun pic.
So, for all of you that I forgot to tell, or didn’t tell very intentionally, I am actually camping for the next few days somewhere on the Texas/Louisiana border. Granted, we’re in cabins, with electricity, running water and heat. And of course, blogging capabilities! Point is, I’m in the woods, attempting to somewhat relax and “rough it”. Hope you all are having a Happy Thanksgiving!

Doesn’t really have much to do with the holiday, I was just curious…
When you put your shoes on, are you a Sock-Sock-Shoe-Shoe kind of person? Or are you of the Sock-Shoe-Sock-Shoe variety?
I hope you all have an amazing Thanksgiving! Show your families and loved ones how much you care, you never know when someone needs to hear it!
So, in a weird twist, I ended up in a movie tonight about 15 minutes after hearing that a bunch of people were going. I’d now like to take this time to boycott this movie…
If you are into old school Disney movies where everyone breaks into song at random points, this might be your gig. Other than that… you should probably look into something else…

There is no other reason for this post, besides of course, my general admiration for penguins.
