So, we’re having a BBQ tomorrow and we need plenty of food. Naturaly, Greg and I decided to make a late night journey to a distant Wal-Mart for a grocery run.
By the way, tonight was the first highschool service at camp, and it was absolutely amazing. God showed up in many kids lives already. I love it. More to come!

I wanted to see how I’d look with a little ink. Of course, if I were to do this for real, it would something a little more timeless.

Hey guys, real quick…

We’re out here at Tall Timbers Retreat Center in Woodsworth, Louisiana for the first every LateNite retreat! If you’re not here, shame on ya self!

I’m having phone/computer connectivity issues so I have no pictures yet, but I’ll work on that tomorrow hopefully…

Anyway, we had some slamming worship tonight already, and I’m sure there is much more to come. The honorable Reverend Michael Haman is teaching us all right now and bringing the fire! Speaking of… I’m gonna go finish listening to the message! Hope you’re all having a great weekend, I know mine is already off to an awesome start.

I was just doing a little studying and this song came around on the iPod Shuffle. If you’ve never heard it, feel free to take a listen. If you have heard it, at least look over the lyrics. This is the kind of passion I strive for everyday, and I’m blessed beyond belief to be able to work with dozens of people on a regular basis that are running the race with me. Striving to have hearts that hurt for the things that hurt His heart.

There are many prodigal sons
On our city streets they run
Searching for shelter
There are homes broken down
People’s hopes have fallen to the ground
From failures

This is an emergency!

There are tears from the saints
For the lost and unsaved
We’re crying for them come back home
We’re crying for them come back home
And all your children will stretch out their hands
And pick up the crippled man
Father, we will lead them home
Father, we will lead them home

There are schools full of hatred
Even churches have forsaken
Love and mercy
May we see this generation
In it’s state of desperation
For Your glory

This is an emergency!

Sinner, reach out your hands!
Children in Christ you stand!
Sinner, reach out your hands!
Children in Christ you stand!

And all Your children will stretch out their hands
And pick up the crippled man
Father, we will lead them home
Father, we will lead them home
